State of the World’s Fathers 2017 is now available in Swedish

MenCare partners Men for Gender Equality Sweden (MÄN) and Save the Children Sweden launched the Swedish translation of the 2017 State of the Worlds Fathers: Time for Action report on November 10, 2017 at an event in Stockholm, Sweden. State of the World’s Fathers: Time for Action, a MenCare publication, draws from nearly 100 research 

From Sweden to Chile, these photos of men’s caregiving show that fatherhood is changing

La Moneda Cultural Center in Santiago, Chile is presenting the Chilean Dads (“Papás Chilenos,” in Spanish) photo exhibition from October 4 to November 26, 2017, highlighting intimate moments of Chilean fathers caring for their children. The 27 photos that appear in the exhibition were selected from over 400 entries, submitted by fathers and family members

On October 12, 2017, UNFPA Eastern Europe and Central Asia (EECA) Regional Office, a MenCare partner, organized the webinar “Fatherhood Programs: Good Practices from the Region” within the framework of the EECA MenEngage Platform. Eight fathers challenging gender stereotypes in Bangladesh tell their stories

In July, the Prio Baba (“Dear Father”) campaign in Bangladesh, led by MenCare partner Center for Men and Masculinities Studies (CMMS), recognized eight fathers championing the empowerment of women and girls at an award ceremony in Dhaka. These men have served as role models due to their rejection of harmful traditional practices related to fatherhood
