World Vision Lanka hosts MenCare family retreat in Ambagamuwa around Father’s Day

World Vision Lanka, MenCare Sri Lanka’s coordinator, hosted a MenCare retreat for 20 families in June 2015. Eighty-six participants took part in the two-day residential program for families from the Ambagamuwa Area Development Program. Religious leaders champion gender equality and domestic violence prevention in Hanoi, Vietnam

In March, the Center for Studies and Applied Sciences in Gender, Family, Women and Adolescents (CSAGA) – MenCare Vietnam’s coordinator – focused its efforts on engaging local religious leaders. Throughout the month, CSAGA conducted trainings with priests, nuns and other clergy on how to integrate gender equality and domestic violence prevention into their premarital programs. 

MenCare welcomes new partners in Pakistan, Portugal, and Switzerland

MenCare is excited to welcome new country partners in Pakistan, Portugal, and Switzerland to the global campaign! Equimundo-Europe in Portugal, masculinities.ch and the Swiss Institute of Masculinities and Gender Issues in Switzerland, and the AMAL Human Development Network in Pakistan joined MenCare this year to work on research and community campaigns that support men’s active involvement in fatherhood and caregiving.
